Quality Welsh Cobs
Where our aim is to breed Quality Welsh Cobs with the Best Bloodlines.
The stud was founded 30 years ago.
The first Welsh Cob I purchased was a Section C yearling “Seven Dandy” by Nebo Daniel; he had a very successful showing career as a complete beginner – 3rd Royal Welsh, 3rd Glanusk and many championships thereafter. This then instilled the bug to breed our own.
We then decided to go into Section D with the purchase of “FFOSLAS CARADOG AP DAFYDD” by Brenin Dafydd and out of Ffoslas Welsh Maid by Parc Welsh Flyer and “Gwrthafarn Myfanwy” by Derwen Llwynog and out of Gwrthafarn Rosina by Cippyn Red Flyer.
Both horses had a tremendous showing career.
The mating of the two of them gave us “Murrayhall Pandora” who also had a fantastic showing career, being First and Champion M&M at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
First and Best Home Bred Female at Northleach to name but a few.
We purchased other breeding mares but continued to show our own breed stock.
As the years have passed our mares have become old and have passed away.
After a break of 7 years for personal family reasons, which are now behind us, and as it has always been in our blood, we are now starting to pick up where we left off. We have some exciting new youngsters.
One of these is our home bred colt, Murrayhall Inspiration, which Pandora had left us at the time of her untimely death.
